In good company

„It is not good for man to be alone, and especially to work alone. On the contrary, he needs sympathy and suggestion to do anything well.“
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

We are looking for partnerships, where children, adolescents and books come together and connect - especially when sharing the one idea, we are passionate about:

Awakening interest in books and literature, to enjoy reading, and having fun.

We love working together with people who share our idea

Our partners:

Nadja Rümelin lives in Erfurt and supports us with beautiful illustrations, and also she's an author herself! If you look closely, you'll find some of her work among the treasures of our book store ..

Our former colleague Katharina, who joined the Buchkinder Leipzig, a writing workshop and printery. They assist children with writing their own books, designing and illustrating them and finally printing them, all by themselves! We are glad to bring their stories and pictures to Freiburg.

As cooperation partner of the German Bundesliga club SC Freiburg we support the Füchsle Club's project ‚football and reading‘, writing inspiring book reviews and organising events together. Come visit our stall each season start at Freiburg's football stadium!

At our book store, there are dreams at work: For quite a while now, Monika Schwab's letterings embellish our window boards. Have a look at her website, or visit our book store and see for yourself!

If you are ever in St. Märgen, take some time and drop by the Café Goldene Krone: An absolutely commendable project and worthy of support - and they got a fine selection of books for the little ones as well!

Actress Petra Gack and musician Mike Schweizer belong to our network, because time and again we are having great events together.

The Literaturbüro Freiburg is our partner because of the great projects you can find there, for example ‚Freileser‘.

Did you ever taste home-made dragon scale cake? Check out Café Fabelhaft and have some! This place really is fabulous.

One of our dearest neighbors is the Museum für Neue Kunst - art and literature being very close (and just across the street).

It's an oasis of calm where you can just take it easy, sling a hammock and relax - no muss, no fuss! Spend your days dreaming and decelerating at Träumothek.

When the sun is shining, Café Marcel is definitely the place to be. While their parents relish coffee specialties and french croissants, their kids play at the huge playground nearby.
